Brief Bio...
Missy Garland is a Film, Television, Theatre Actress. However, she began her career in the entertainment industry as a Stylist. As a Stylist, her work has appeared in top fashion magazines, television commercials and a wide variety of other media. While working as a Producer and Stylist for a national magazine, Missy created a television show called "Extreme Girls" and was in the process of setting up a pitch to Time Warner. In order to execute the best pitch possible, she decided to take an acting class and the rest is history. Missy also studied, wrote and produced shows at Second City and hosted a premiere there of her own co-written television sitcom, "Bare Tales." Missy has appeared in several plays, two of her favorites include: "Kennedy's Children" and "Orpheus Descending." Missy's recent projects include a Long Beach Tourism and Cox Television commercial. But, Missy's favorite role is being a mom to her daughter Samantha. She is passionate about working with kids and volunteers at her daughter's elementary school dealing with technology, math, pumpkin bread-making and so much more.
